Father & Son

V & S Cleaners was started by Mr. Harout Shnorhokian, an Armenian immigrant from Lebanon.  Mr Shnorhokian immigrated to America in 1977 with his wife.  Later that year, their son Mark was born.  Mr. Shnorhokian worked very hard to support his family at various jobs around the region when in 1986, he got the opportunity to open up his very first store in Wyckoff, NJ.  

In 1991, he opened up his first full functioning plant at Ramsey Square Shopping Center.  During this period, V & S Cleaners experienced tremendous growth.  

In 2001, his son Mark joined the family business and moved it into the 21st century.  Together, they offer over 35 years of experience.  Through the years, V & S Cleaners has maintained its outstanding reputation and family friendly image.  

V & S is also a local business that contributes to the local economy and charities.  In addition, we are members of the Neighborhood Cleaners Association in NYC. 

Our vision today is the same as it was on day one…..Superb quality dry-cleaning at fair and reasonable prices.  Customer Service is of utmost importance, and every customer gets treated promptly with respect and honesty.  If we feel a stain won’t come out, we will tell you.  If we fail to see a loose hem at the counter, we will call the customer before processing.  Treat the customer as how you would want to be treated…..a simple belief we practice every day.
